Small server room with redundant physical infrastructure for IT with advanced overvoltage protection and antivibration rack in industrial environment.

Our customer is a large multinational production company who is producing and maintain high power electrical equipments in central Hungary.

Upon their request we designed and install their small server room for housing 1 IT rack unit with a redundant, high reliable physical infrastructure.

We built the server room in an existing, bigger office space with separation of the necessary area according to our created 3D design, and approved by our customer.

The requirements included the followings

Redundant safe and protected power feeds with small distribution cabinet, over voltage protection (T1+T2) cabled and connected to the main distribution area by our staff
We have led 3 phase cable, fused individually for the single phase UPS systems, and air-conditioning units. This way the connections can be on different phases for better reliability.
Redundant double conversion UPS systems delivery and installation with supervision card interfaces, and REPO buttons for each unit.
Uninterrupted static transfer switch delivery and installation for IT units with single power supplies connected to the output of redundant .UPS units.
Professional rack PDUs with over voltage fine protection (T3) devices.

Redundant air conditioning units delivery and installation on lifting frame stands for winter cooling of the systems even at large snowing.
Professional IT rack cabinet delivery and installation with anti vibration stands and with split perforated doors.
Structured cabling with CAT6A connectors and with CAT7 cabling.
60 minutes fire protected wall constructions and same protection level door.
Manual fire extinguishing systems with proper gas agent for IT systems.
Antistatic and conductive floor connected to the central earthing of the room in the server room distribution cabinet.

There were a specialty of the project, that the room was right above of the high power testing chamber of the produced large electrical rotating machines and some times strong vibrations occurred. Therefore we have changed the roller legs of the cabinet to special parabolic rubber legs with high anti-vibration capability.
